Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another Express Entry draw, issuing 6,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates with strong French language skills.
To qualify for this draw, candidates were required to:
- Hold a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 408
- Have submitted their Express Entry profile before 12:28 p.m. UTC on May 26, 2025

This is the eighth French-language specific draw so far this year, tying it as the third-largest draw in 2025. Over the past 11 months, French-speaking applicants have benefited the most through Express Entry, receiving a total of 42,000 ITAs, the highest for any category.
French-language category draws have continued to dominate in size as well, making up the seven largest Express Entry draws of the year, with invitation numbers ranging from 4,500 up to 7,500.
Today’s draw marks the sixth overall in November. It follows invitations issued to Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates on November 26, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on November 25, and a healthcare-targeted draw earlier on November 14.
So far in 2025, IRCC has issued 94,476 ITAs across all Express Entry draws.
This year’s distribution of draws shows a strong focus on PNP streams, while additional invitations have gone to CEC candidates, French-speaking applicants, and various targeted occupation categories.
