Manitoba PNP

Manitoba is at the longitudinal center of Canada. It stretches from Northern Oceanic coastline to the southern border of Canada. Most Aboriginals moved to settle in Manitoba during the late 17th century. Winnipeg is Manitoba's capital and is its largest city. The province has Salt Water coastline bordering Hudson Lake and is house for 110,000 lakes. This province is the richest economic contributor to Canada. Manitoba has tight-knit communities, a stable labour market and is rich with natural resources. Manitoba restructured its Provincial Nomination Program in November, 2017.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba are not subject to a points-based assessment to determine their eligibility. Qualified temporary foreign workers and international student graduates currently working in Manitoba and those who have a permanent job offer in hand qualify for Manitoba Nomination.

Skilled Worker Overseas

Qualified skilled workers who can demonstrate a strong connection to the province through family or friends, or show Manitoba work Experience, or has Manitoba Invitation, and who has a minimum score of 60 points according to the five eligibility factors:

  • age
  • language proficiency
  • work experience
  • education and
  • adaptability

are eligible to receive MPNP. Notifications are given for the applicants who meeting the EOI (Expression of interest) scores.

Manitoba Express Entry Pathway (currently operating as the Skilled Worker Overseas - Express Entry Sub-Stream)

This pathway is open to Express Entry candidates who are also eligible under another MPNP stream and who meet Express Entry requirements and have an active Express Entry profile. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate experience in an occupation listed in Manitoba's In-demand Occupations list and have strong family connection to Manitoba.

Human Capital Pathway

This pathway will be open to foreign skilled workers with experience in Manitoba's In-demand Occupations, and who demonstrate the ability to potentially establish themselves by building strong labour market connections to those occupations. Job offer approved by LMIA.
