Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its first Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Express Entry draw in four weeks, issuing 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence.
The draw was held on May 27, 2026. To receive an invitation, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 518 and must have created their Express Entry profile before 3:16 p.m. UTC on April 30, 2026.

This was the ninth Canadian Experience Class draw of 2026 and recorded the highest CRS cut-off score among all CEC draws held this year.
IRCC has continued to focus on candidates already living and working in Canada. Throughout 2026, most invitations have been issued to candidates with Canadian work experience or provincial nominations.
So far this year, Canada has conducted 29 Express Entry draws and issued a total of 75,341 invitations across various categories.
