New Brunswick has continued its active immigration efforts by issuing 750 invitations to eligible candidates between July 16 and July 22, 2026. The invitations were sent through the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), providing skilled workers with new opportunities to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
The latest invitation rounds targeted candidates across several high-demand sectors, including healthcare, construction, education, manufacturing, transportation, information technology, sales and hospitality. Healthcare professionals were included in every draw conducted during this period, highlighting the province’s ongoing demand for medical workers.
A total of 750 invitations were distributed across four immigration pathways:
Successful candidates invited through the NBPNP can submit an application for a provincial nomination, which strengthens their pathway to Canadian permanent residence.
Candidates selected under the Atlantic Immigration Program may apply for an endorsement certificate from New Brunswick before submitting their permanent residence application to the federal government.
Between July 16 and July 18, New Brunswick held two invitation rounds under the Skilled Worker Stream, issuing a total of 267 invitations across three pathways.

New Brunswick Experience Pathway
Designed for individuals already living and working in New Brunswick who have been employed full-time with an eligible employer for at least six months.
New Brunswick Priorities Pathway
For foreign workers who received a full-time job offer through a provincial recruitment mission in a priority occupation and possess at least one year of related work experience.
New Brunswick Graduates Pathway
Open to international graduates who completed an eligible post-secondary program in New Brunswick and either have a full-time job with an eligible employer or have accepted an employment offer in the province.
On July 16, New Brunswick also conducted a draw under its Strategic Initiative Stream, issuing 254 invitations.

Francophone Workers in New Brunswick
This pathway is intended for French-speaking foreign nationals who are working full-time for an eligible employer in New Brunswick or have a valid job offer. Applicants must also have lived in the province for at least six months or obtained their employment through a provincial recruitment mission.
New Brunswick Francophone Priorities
This pathway supports French-speaking candidates who have a strong connection to the province, including eligible graduates from New Brunswick institutions or individuals invited directly by Immigration New Brunswick.
New Brunswick also invited 115 candidates through the Express Entry Stream on July 16.

This pathway is available to Express Entry candidates who have lived in New Brunswick for at least 12 months while working full-time for an eligible employer in a TEER 0–3 occupation during that period.
On July 22, New Brunswick held another draw under the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), issuing 114 invitations. This marked the province’s third-largest AIP-focused draw of 2026.

The Atlantic Immigration Program is an employer-driven immigration pathway that helps skilled foreign workers and international graduates obtain Canadian permanent residence.
Applicants must receive a qualifying job offer from a designated employer located in one of Canada’s Atlantic provinces:
The employer’s job offer must be endorsed by the province before the applicant can submit a permanent residence application. Candidates must also meet the program’s eligibility requirements, including language proficiency, education, work experience and settlement fund criteria where applicable.
