Canada Express Entry: 4,000 ITAs Issued in Latest French-Language Draw

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another Express Entry draw, issuing a fresh round of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates.

In the latest draw, a total of 4,000 ITAs were issued to candidates with French-language proficiency, continuing Canada’s focus on attracting bilingual talent.

To qualify for this round, candidates were required to meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 393
  • An active Express Entry profile submitted before December 29, 2025, at 12:47 p.m. (UTC)

This marks the 17th Express Entry draw of 2026 and the third draw specifically targeting French-speaking candidates.

Interestingly, despite being only the third French-language draw this year, this category has already received 18,000 ITAs, making it the second-highest in total invitations just behind the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
