Prince Edward Island (PEI) has invited 114 immigration candidates in its latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw held on May 21, 2026. The province continues to focus on foreign workers and international graduates working in priority sectors and occupations facing labour shortages.
The invitations were issued under the Labour Impact and PEI Express Entry categories. PEI mainly targeted candidates already employed in the province and contributing to the local economy.
International graduates from the following institutions were also prioritized in this draw:
- University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI)
- Holland College
- Collège de l’Île
This is the fifth consecutive PEI PNP draw in 2026 where the province has invited over 100 candidates. So far this year, PEI has issued a total of 477 invitations through its immigration program.
| Draw Date | Invitations Issued |
| January 15 | 26 |
| February 19 | 109 |
| March 20 | 101 |
| April 16 | 127 |
| May 21 | 114 |

PEI remains the only Canadian province that publicly shares its annual draw schedule, helping applicants better plan their Canada PR process.
Candidates interested in the PEI PNP must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile. The province assesses applicants based on factors such as language skills, education, work experience, job offers, and labour market needs.
Invited candidates now have 30 days to submit their complete application for provincial nomination. After receiving provincial nomination, candidates can apply for Canada Permanent Residency with the federal government.
