Ontario PNP Issues 1,100+ Invitations as Draws Resume After Two-Month Pause

Ontario has restarted its provincial immigration activities by issuing 1,133 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) on December 10 across five separate Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) draws. These draws were the first since October 9.

Invitations were issued under three Employer Job Offer streams:

  • Foreign Worker Stream
  • International Student Stream
  • In-Demand Skills Stream

These draws focused on candidates in Canada who had active profiles in Ontario’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system. The targeted groups included early childhood educators, priority healthcare professionals, and candidates eligible under the Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot. Through the REDI pilot, Ontario aims to support smaller communities such as Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville by attracting skilled workers.
