The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted another provincial immigration draw, issuing 77 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to skilled workers under its Skilled Worker Stream.
The latest selection round took place on July 2, 2026, and focused on candidates who had previously received invitations through Manitoba’s strategic recruitment initiatives.
This marks the 13th MPNP draw of 2026, highlighting the province’s continued efforts to attract skilled professionals who can contribute to Manitoba’s labour market and economic growth.
July 2 MPNP Draw Results
The invitations were issued through both Skilled Worker pathways:
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba
- Skilled Worker Overseas
To be considered in this draw, candidates were required to indicate in their Expression of Interest (EOI) profile that they had received an invitation through either a Manitoba recruitment mission or the Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Candidates (TPP).
Invitation Distribution by Recruitment Initiative
| Strategic Recruitment Initiative | Invitations Issued |
| Employer Services | 36 |
| Temporary Public Policy (TPP) | 31 |
| Francophone Community Initiative | 8 |
| Regional Communities Initiative | 2 |
Nearly half of all invitations (46.8%) were issued to candidates selected through the Employer Services initiative, while more than 40% went to applicants supported under the Temporary Public Policy.
Among the 77 invited candidates, 15 applicants had a valid Express Entry profile number along with a Job Seeker Validation Code, making them eligible for enhanced provincial nomination opportunities.
Important Eligibility Requirements
The Manitoba government also reminded applicants that some candidates may not receive an invitation even if they appear eligible.
Common reasons include:
- An expired or invalid English or French language test result.
- Missing or incorrect language test identification details in the EOI profile.
- Failure to provide a valid invitation number after claiming selection through a strategic recruitment initiative.
Applicants are encouraged to ensure that all information submitted in their Expression of Interest remains accurate and up to date to avoid missing future invitation rounds.
Continued Focus on Temporary Public Policy Applicants
Earlier this year, Manitoba announced that it would begin conducting targeted draws for individuals who received Support Letters under the Temporary Public Policy (TPP).
Since the announcement, the province has issued 579 invitations to TPP-supported candidates, with the majority of those invitations issued during the first targeted draw held in May.
Manitoba’s 2026 Immigration Progress
With the latest selection round, Manitoba has now issued 1,910 Letters of Advice to Apply through the MPNP in 2026.
For this year, the federal government allocated 6,239 provincial nomination spaces to Manitoba.
According to the latest provincial data available, Manitoba had already approved 2,165 provincial nominations by the end of May 2026.
The difference between the number of invitations issued and nominations approved is largely due to applications submitted from invitations issued during the previous year that are still being processed.

What This Means for Skilled Workers
Manitoba continues to use targeted recruitment initiatives to invite skilled workers who can help meet provincial labour shortages. Candidates connected through Employer Services, Francophone recruitment, regional initiatives, or previous Temporary Public Policy support continue to receive strong consideration under the MPNP.
Maintaining a complete and accurate Expression of Interest profile, along with valid language test results and supporting documentation, can improve an applicant’s chances of receiving an invitation in future draws.
