Canada’s Newfoundland and Labrador province has conducted another provincial immigration draw, inviting 108 candidates to apply through its immigration programs on June 10, 2026.
The invitations were issued under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), providing another opportunity for skilled foreign workers looking to obtain Canadian permanent residence.
According to the latest draw results, 89 invitations were issued through the NLPNP, while 19 candidates received invitations through the Atlantic Immigration Program.
Although provincial authorities did not reveal the occupations or immigration streams selected, the latest draw shows that Newfoundland and Labrador continues to rely on provincial immigration to address labour shortages and strengthen its workforce.
This draw also marks a slight increase from the previous selection round held on May 28, when 103 invitations were issued.
So far in 2026, the province has invited 1,487 candidates, with the majority receiving invitations through the NLPNP.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates interested in Newfoundland and Labrador immigration must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). In most cases, applicants must also have a valid job offer from an employer in the province before becoming eligible.
The province assesses applicants based on education, work experience, language ability, occupation, and their intention to settle in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Successful candidates who receive a provincial nomination or AIP endorsement can then apply to the Canadian federal government for permanent residence.
For skilled workers seeking Canadian immigration opportunities, Newfoundland and Labrador continues to offer promising pathways through its provincial immigration programs.
