
Quebec continues to strengthen its workforce by inviting thousands of skilled workers through its Provincial Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ).
The Government of Quebec has conducted its latest immigration draw under the Programme de sélection des travailleurs qualifiés (PSTQ), issuing 2,549 invitations to apply for permanent selection on June 4, 2026.
The invitations were issued across all four PSTQ streams, making this the fifth selection round of 2026. Candidate profiles were selected from the Arrima Expression of Interest pool as of June 1, 2026, at 6:00 a.m.
The majority of invitations were issued to candidates with highly qualified and specialized skills, reflecting Quebec’s continued focus on addressing labour shortages across key economic sectors.

Quebec invited 1,094 candidates under Stream 1, targeting workers employed in TEER 0, 1 and 2 occupations who are currently living in Quebec and possess at least 12 months of work experience within the last five years.

General Eligibility Requirements
Applicants were required to:
- Be residing in Quebec.
- Have at least 12 months of eligible work experience during the previous five years.
- Demonstrate French Level 7 or higher in oral comprehension and oral expression.
- Demonstrate French Level 5 or higher in written skills.
- Accompanying spouses needed French Level 4 oral proficiency.
- Complete one year of full-time education in Quebec.
- Hold an eligible Quebec diploma, including vocational diplomas, college diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees or doctoral qualifications.
