Manitoba’s Final 2025 Draw Issues Invitations to Hundreds of Skilled Candidates

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) draw on December 31, 2025, closing the year with a strong focus on skilled workers already contributing to the province’s workforce.

In this final draw of the year, Manitoba issued 421 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to eligible candidates across different immigration streams.

Healthcare Occupations Take Priority

Out of the total invitations, 353 LAAs were issued under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway, targeting candidates working in key healthcare-related occupations. To be considered, applicants were required to show current employment in Manitoba in their EOI profile.

The occupations selected under this draw included senior healthcare managers, medical administrative professionals, public and environmental health specialists, counsellors, health policy experts, caregivers, and related roles.

This clearly highlights Manitoba’s continued demand for skilled professionals who are already supporting its healthcare system.

Strategic Recruitment Invitations Also Issued

Alongside the occupation-specific draw, Manitoba issued 68 additional LAAs to candidates who had received direct invitations from the province under a strategic recruitment initiative. These invitations covered both:

• Skilled Worker in Manitoba
• Skilled Worker Overseas

The distribution of these invitations focused on employer-driven needs, Francophone applicants, regional and ethnocultural communities, and candidates supported under temporary public policies.

Express Entry Candidates Included

Of the 421 total invitations, 118 LAAs were issued to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code, offering them a faster pathway toward Canadian permanent residence.

Why Some Eligible Profiles May Not Receive an Invitation

Manitoba clarified that even if candidates meet the basic criteria, an invitation may not be issued if:

• A valid language test number was missing or expired in the EOI profile
• A strategic recruitment invitation number was not correctly entered

Updating the EOI profile with accurate and valid information ensures candidates remain eligible for future draws.

Important Advisory for Regulated Occupations

Candidates working in regulated occupations must provide proof that they have completed all required licensing steps in Manitoba. Applications may be refused if this evidence is missing, and such candidates are advised to decline the invitation until they are fully eligible.
